Start with the beads you already own
Perler, Hama and Artkal all work with square-grid patterns, but buy the right size and series for your board. In this tool, the palettes cover Perler Midi, Hama Midi and Artkal S.
For a first project, sticking to one brand and series makes shopping and ironing easier. Match the codes in your bead list to the packaging rather than relying on a color name alone.
Treat color matches as a shortlist
The color converter finds nearby colors in another brand. Use it to narrow down a replacement, then compare the actual beads if the shade matters.
A screen cannot show the finish of a transparent, metallic or glow bead. Those colors are left out of automatic image matching.
Try another brand without losing your work
Changing the brand updates the pattern and bead list together. Download a project file before trying several palettes so you can return to the version you liked.
If your kit only has a few colors, turn on “Use my colors” and choose them. The converter will work within that set instead of adding colors you do not have.
