Choose your paper and grid style
The PDF supports A4 and US Letter. Use color and symbols when you want an easy reference, or symbols only for a black-and-white printout.
For a template that sits beneath a clear board, choose actual-size spacing and enter the peg pitch of your board. A readable chart and an actual-size template serve different purposes.
Print one page as a scale check
Choose 100% or “Actual size” in the print dialog and turn off “Fit to page”. Measure the 100 mm ruler on the PDF before using it under a board.
Check the first and last peg positions in both directions. Printer scaling and margins can change the result, so a quick test page is worth doing before a large batch.
Keep the pages in order
Large patterns are split into labeled sections. Use the row and column ranges to place the pages, and the heavier line every five cells to keep your count.
The PDF includes a bead list. Keep the editable project file too: a PDF or PNG is useful while crafting, but the .beadsketch file restores your colors, cells and progress in the editor.
